I am an Accredited Music Therapist (MTA) and trained in psychotherapy approaches. I have over 1000s hours of clinical experience working with adolescents, adults and families through mental health, palliative care and long-term care settings. Further continuing education includes: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Level I (CBT) and Positive Approach to Care (PAC) for those with dementia.

I am compassionate and authentic person who offers unconditional positive regard. I uphold anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices in my personal life and work. As a therapist I work from humanistic and resource-oriented perspectives which means we may explore what is truly meaningful to you as well as tap into your own strengths and resources.

I wish to create a safe space for the people work with to learn more about themselves, work through their struggles and feel validated in their experiences. I value autonomy, respect, dignity, and transparency in the therapeutic relationship.

As a music therapist, I believe creativity, whether that be through music, art, writing, dance or acting is a valuable medium for self-exploration and working through challenges we may face.
